LAS VEGAS – Kyler Phillips answered media questions on Wednesday ahead of his bout at UFC 259.
Phillips (8-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) discussed his bantamweight matchup with Song Yadong (15-3-1 MMA, 5-0-1 UFC), his mentality coming into the biggest fight of his career thus far, his thoughts on the 135-pound title fight between Petr Yan and Aljamain Sterling on the same card, and more.
The more interesting bout is 8-1 Kyler Phillips taking on China's Song Yadong, who hasn't lost since arriving in the UFC in 2017. Song has bounced between bantam and featherweight for years but has done his best work at this current weight class.
